As Im feeling a little bad at hijacking your post with rampant silliness and perhaps it will help you with colour choices heres a link to a post I put up with piccies of my red vRS, I believe there are also several of the grey and blue ones floating about too.

HAHA dont worry - I saw those yesterday and they are what made me consider red. Looks stunning.

Lol, shame it doesnt stay so shiny the minute I get back on the road again :)

Well whatever colour you get if you want me to send you the link to the guy who sold me the DiamondBrite that I did it with (thus saving £270) from the garage, and also how I prespped it feel free. Keep meaning to put a post up on the forum to be honest.

Is the VW VAGCOM the same as the Skoda one? (I Have a lead) I don't know for certain, but I expect so

However.... only with an official lead and not all of the FL controllers are totally supported even in the current beta.

Cheers but if you have seen pics of my Bora you would know that I don't need that lol! Good old Megs and AutoGlym EGP do the job for me!

Just to add a couple of points about the Bluetooth OEM kit

You do not need a cradle, the phone stays in your pocket!

The car kit is not just a BT connection, its a full blown installed car phone, its actually an electronics box under the drivers seat and it has its own aerial so reception is much better. The only thing it does not have is a SIM card, it reads this info from your phone via Bluetooth

When you connect for the first time it downloads all your contacts from your phone and then in effect 'turns the phone off'. Via the car controls you can select SIM contacts, phone contacts or both. You can assign up to 15 contacts with a voice tag. This works excellently

Text messages received while connected come up on the Maxidot display although you can not transfer them to your phone.

I'm glad I got my order changed to include this option

Ahhh, if only they stayed that shiny eh :) Bloody weather.

Nice Bora..I had a 2.0 Sport a few years ago...Down side was the MPG of 19 around town and the dreadful lights

Its a diesel so 50+mpg! Dont really want to sell it!

With a compatible phone the Skoda Bluetooth unit is excellent. Also any January 2010 builds onwards appear to now have a more widely compatible bluetooth system that will connect to Sony-ericssons etc - but if u use a Nokia then no worries. I would definitely get it.

I would also get the DSG if poss. I was in 2 minds but having gone with it and now driven it for 2 weeks I am delighted. Its not perfect - jolts a bit when moving away at times but on the move it is superb. Always in correct gear and changes are super smooth.

Not sure why the dealer would want you to go there. I did the initial bit over the phone; and all the paperwork was done on the day I collected it ............ 15 weeks later.

Good choice; same spec as mine apart from the colour.

Something to do with the finance has to be done in person - not so sure about this myself as had a previous load with Tesco and just did that over the phone - didn't even need to sign anything for that one. I will see what the dealer says when they phone me.

Good man, welcome to the club ;)

I posted some signed forms to them a few days before collection. You should be able to do it by post.

I took the finance option; VW / Skoda in Milton Keynes called me - took the details (bank account etc) over the phone and then I signed papers on the day of collection.

Dealer called me today - surprise surprise its Marlborough. Spoke to a very nice lady and went through the order with me. No mention of having to sign anything other than the finance company will be calling me today or tomorrow to go through all my personal details.

Then she said up to 14 weeks for delivery!!! I can't wait that long!

Well, the Skoda God has certainly warmed the weather up over the past few days.

Just timed it right to be entrusting you with one of his flock for that relaxing journey home via a nice country pub!
