Featured Replies

Just out of interest would the calipers from porsche fit the fabia? What specs do the calipers need to be in order for it to work?

Cheers

Mike

:D I know I saw them and my little eyes lit up!!!

If they will fit the Golf/Octy then yes, but you will need wheels to clear them.

Now that does look interesting. :D

cheers ross  so in theory as long as they will fit a golf/octi then it will fit a fabia? If that's the case I can do some research into whats out there

Yup the GT Brembo kit I have on mine is the same one that fits the Octy platfrom.

Is there a Brembo kit out that fits under the 16" rims or does it have to be 17"?

I want to change my brakes eventually but I want to keep the standard rims.

You will struggle fitting the calipers under the std wheels as they are much wider, thats the problem.

Highlighted in this pic is why four pot calipers wont fit under all types of wheel.

The outer section of the caliper now has two pistons in it so its much wider than the std caliper

Ypu cn use spacers to overcome this but you have to be carefull not to push the wheel outside the arch.

Also you would need a disc with a diamter that will fit under 16" wheels, the MK3 SEAT Ibiza Cupra R used 308mm discs iirc they fit under 16" wheels, but they are four stud.
