Been looking at various different posts and can't seem to find anything saying that they will just fit onto the standard wiper arms.

I have a 05 plate VRS and wondering if aero wipers will fit onto standard wiper arms.

As long as you get the retro fit aero wipers they will fit fine!

I have got these for my vRS and they work fantastically well!

Must admit, I tried cheapo supermarket ones and Aerotwins as linked by the previous poster, but couldn't get either to wipe the entire swept area. They were either not bent enough and left gaps at the ends, or too bent and left a gap in the middle. Looked smart and were virtually silent when wiping, though! Gave up on them due to the amount of driving I do in the dark in winter, where I just wasn't happy with them not wiping properly... You might have more success than me, though!

TPS (trade parts suppies) the VAG parts supplier, sell aero wiper kits as an upgrade to the standard blades, the Fabia and Octavia1 kits are the same P/N, i have some on my Fabia, work very well, about £22 iirc

I've just bought a set of Bosch Aerotwin wipers for my Fabia Vrs.

They work really well, much better than the cheap aeroblades

from Tesco. £24 a set from Euro Car Parts

I think half the battle on windscreen cleaning is to use the Genuine VAG screenwash.

Had the bosch aero ones on my car, and wasn't overly impressed tbh... still seem to miss portions of the screen. Went back to the standard bosch ones with spoiler, half the price and wipe just as well and in my opinion they look nicer

sort of agree there although, i do like the modern look of the aero blades but theyre pants imo, dont last long at all! not worth the extra money over the standard Bosch blades.

VAG G060/G052 and starndard Bocsh blades all the way!!
