You are doing it right! The big Skoda Octavia II picture thread!

Those are immense! (both in looks and size :))

I can only imagine how that would drive round here though. Slowly, very slowly.... - you must have some really smooth and flat tarmac over there.

Looks a bit weird to me where the windscreen ends and the roof begins, but that's probably because it looks different :)

Black Magic on the roof and pillars would be a bit pointless for me anyway ;)

Stamsaas - Audi wheels look spot on, perfect size, nice stretch and great ride height, very nice indeed......

bluvrs2 - Interesting Alan, looks good and match the wheels well......

OctyNik - Some slightly different pics of your motor coming up soon.......... :p

Well Alan, have to admit that when you said you were going to hit the Vinyl button I didnt think the contrast would have been as good /effective as it is especially on a dark colour.

Hats off to you fella...a good call indeed!

That looks awesome, didn't you used to have a colour-coded grill though?

Grill, Mirrors, fog lamp surrounds perhaps, something on the bonnet certainly...

Well having the grill to match on Thursday, and maybe the fog surrounds, also having the rear lights a dark film on them , but not too dark

Guys a general question - I have a 2011 Hatch and am wondering what color you used on the grilles (black ones of course) is it the same Black magic or a high gloss, I am having wheels and grille done and wanted to get some of your opinions and advise.

Or reading another thread - anyone in the Northwest of England recommend a good Vinyl wrap company that does Grilles :)

I had my wheels done at the wheel specialist in Garfoth( Leeds but nationwide, so there is one in Newcastle http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/File/NewcastleDetails.php

Vinyl wrap in Bradford, for my grill at totally dynamic, nationwide co again but the nearest to you is central scotland or Bradford  If your car is Black magic then you want the same to match Cheers Alan

As you're NW based BlackOctyVRS there's a Wheel Specialist branch in central Manc - just near Piccadilly station.

Don't know of any recommended vinyl places locally I'm afraid, I'm sure there must be some around though! Alternatively just post it over to the place in Bradford Alan used?

Hmm I'm not sure Alan.

I love the roof that looks great, but I can't help but think that the grille is better off colour coded.

The rear lights are a big no no from me I'm afraid, sorry.

Well done for giving it a go! I wonder what a matt black Octavia would look like...;)

They do look darker on pics than in real life,( it was 9.15 pm) and the other wraps are metallic so look 100% better in flesh, every man and his dog has them coded wanted to be different, but I understand it is Marmite to most people , Cheers Alan

What Harry said scares me slightly as he broke into my mind! But its your motor and it is unique if you walk out in the morning and go "HELL YEA!!!!!" then its perfect for you! If your not sure or can't decide then maybe its not.
