I have been playing around with my new Superb Elegance, one thing thats bugging me and I think its going to be a pain is the fog light that turns on/off as you turn left and right with the headlights on. What I would like to do is disable this function, but I cant seem to find an appropriate option in the maxidot menu,

You should give the cornering light a chance. I have often found that it is very valuable to get the light where you need it and I can't member situations where it was annoying for me. A couple of times people have asked me why only one fog light is turned on, but when you give the explanation and tell that Mercedes has the same function they agree the cornering light is very useful.

I aggree that you should give them a chance. I am finding them quite useful and I would notice if they were to stop working now. As for folk mentioning your "crazy" fog lights... They just have no idea what a great car the Superb is!!!

i think it is a good safety function, i saw an Audi coming towards me the other day and when it went to overtake a car in front of him, the minute the indicator came on his LED lights went off and back on again when the signal was canceled.

Sometimes the LED are a bit bright, over here in Ireland we have fools driving with the front fog lights on all day in sunshine even.

You're not alone there. We have the same here in Australia.....unless they are Irish immigrants?

I'll leave them be for the time being, and see how often they attract attention.

Quite a lot i'd bet (unfortunately!) :( noone knows what they are.

I saw a Merc doing this in Paisley ~2 months ago at some traffic lights. I thought to myself, poor guy, intermittent electrical problems already, they just don't make them like they used to! In fact it was one of the things i added to my list of reasons not to go with a basic C-class (which would have been cheaper PCP payments than my octy).

Then i ordered a new car and found out all about them
