Hi! Noob questions how to connect music device...?

Featured Replies

Hi there - had my Fabia now since... ooh... '54 Plate' - does that make it 2004?

Anyway, new to this forum and was hoping somebody somewhere must have asked this question many a time.

I'd like to connect a music device, eg ipod, iphone, sansa MP3 player, etc (i have all 3) via the headphone socket. I see the new Fabia has a port, but the old Symphony Radio/CD Player does not. I went to an auto-audio-kind of shop and they wanted about £120 to wire in some connector or other. He offered me a brand new player for £150...!!!

I suspect there must be a simple plug and play solution (off ebay?) which i could simply fit myself for under £25??

If so, could somebody point me in the right direction of where to find the thread with any (cheaper) solutions?

Cheers - Kevin.
