Ordered mine on the last week of January and haven't chased up them up yet. But was wandering if anyone else who had recently ordered from them have been given a build date yet?

Been told that it should be week 12 but thats not confirmed. Hoping for delivery by early April but won't be holding my breath!

Mine was ordered through them last September. They gave me an indicator at the time of order of 14 to 16 weeks. They never updated me - so I used to call Kuldip who was very helpful (and snowed under by the sounds of it). In the end it turned up after 15 weeks so can't fault them really on that count.

Ordered my vRS in Anthracite on 29th November and it was delivered to them two weeks ago so that's not bad going. Haven't collected it yet - waiting for March but have been to inspect and all's well. No problems with Marlborough so far. Will report back when I pick it up....

ordered mine 31/12, been given a build date of next week (think its week 8?) but hopefully be ready to collect in 4-5 weeks. Dealing with Mike - great service so far

Ordered mine on 08/12/09 and was given a provisional build date of week 7 (this week). Haven't had an update as to if this build date was confirmed or not.

Had a response from Kuldip...

"Your car is currently sitting in week build 11 (15th March), it has not been confirmed yet, it is approx 4 weeks after build that we receive it at the dealership, so we are looking at approx. mid to end of April".

...just got to bite my nails for a little longer!

Emailed Kuldip this week and my build is confirmed....for next week!! A Week early!

well I had an update today too, mine is built and awaiting a shipping allocation - hopefully will be ready around the end of the month

I know the VRS models are taking upwards of 10 - 14 weeks from order to delivery but does anyone have a guesstimate on standard 1.6 TDI Elegance Models?

I've been told by my dealer 6 to 8 weeks and that was two weeks ago. Phoned today enquiring about a build date but the dealer wasn't sure - the person who places the orders wasn't in today.

Anyone any idea?

Does this mean I might be able to get this one, or would this car already be ordered by someone in Worcester?

No its possible you might get it as the car is showing up on the computer system as unsold.

The problem is the original ordering dealer may have sold it in the meantime and not updated the system

He said he would ring them first thing and let me know... nothing yet... fingers crossed!!
