Rubber boot liner for FL vRS Estate

Featured Replies

hello! i have the false floor will the skoda one fit ok or shall i not bother? thanks.

Which one, they do a few, carpet, rubber and hatd plastic?

The first two will flop down either side of the variable floor.

I'm not sure if the profile of the boot changes higher up, if it does the lack of 'give' of the platic one will prevent it from fitting properly...

Mine before the false floor was removed.

Sometimes needes more height and be able to close curtain

I bought a second hand genuine octavia one from a forum member on here for my pre f/l. I have rubber mats throughout the car & felt like I needed one for the boot. Great to toss the dog in & not having to worrie about dirty carpets etc

Buy genuine I'd say.

Hi all, I've just joined this forum today but have been checking previous posts for a while, as I picked up a Octavia VRS estate (Apr '13) only last month. I've been keen to get some accessories like mudflaps, boot liners and some Xenon lights. I've bought the mudflaps, that many say don't fit, and got the fronts on in about 10 minutes. I haven't done the rears yet but a mechanic at my local Skoda dealer said they would fit without any issues. So, if you want mudflaps for your VRS estate, go ahead and buy some!

I've also been looking at bootliners and managed to find this one on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331758609626?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT It was delivered free today and seems to fit perfectly. It's not a non-slip version but it's possible to buy cheap, non-slip mats if needed. At only £17.90, I can't see how you can go wrong.

As far as Xenons are concerned, having read posts on this forum, I think I'll stick to the standard headlights that I've got! Finally, VRS TDI - what a car! Thanks for all the useful info so far. I will try and contribute in the future with any worthwhile info/experiences.
