I got mine (I've got a Scout) from roofbox - costs about £35. I think the one supplied fits all Octavia estates (not 100% certain, though)

If you have orderd a duel floor don't bother ,it wont fit ,mine hangs in the garage !!

Yes it's the same shape, I ordered it for my FL from the dealer, fits perfectly with all the open eyelets for lashing points, but has the old pre-facelift Octavia logo on, which to my mind suggests that the boot liner is the same across versions.

how does the roofbox item work with the floor rings for the net? any issues?

I also have one from Roofbox and it fits well, you will have to cut out four small inserts (they are marked on the base of the liner) with a craft knife or similar to expose and pull through the floor rings. This is a very easy task.

Yes, exactly as Senior Scout says. The only thing I'll add is that the cutouts are also raised a little so if you were to have a spillage then hopefully the spillage would stay within in boot liner rather than leaking out through the cutout holes. Hope that makes sense.

yip thanks to you both for responding, looks like i will order one :)

I would also order some anti slip matting as the surface isn't very grippy, so things have a tendency to slide around a bit.

Does it come rolled up? I would like to get one but want someone to bring it out to me as I am a cheap ******, does it fill the whole boot? would be great as i am always filling the car with logs which is a pain to clean afterwards and i could just lift this out.

My liner also came from roofbox..fitted within minutes.

We have the Skoda boot liner in both our Scout and my hatch and its bloody marvellous. We got it thrown in as part of the deal as I would agree £50 is a bit steep but its worth it. It fits the boot hooks nicely and has a great non-slippy top so things don't move around. With a dirt/water-loving-spaniel and the boot liner the boot floor still looks like new. Even though the edges do flop down with the variable boot floor in the Scout its still worth it. The pre-FL liner in our Scout is exactly the same as the FL liner in my hatch.

Thanks for the links, must get myself a boot liner pronto.

Ordered an official Skoda rubber boot liner at the weekend and picked it up today. Got it home, unwrapped it and there's a good 8" split down the middle with several other marks in the rubber. Makes me think for 50 notes that the quality of this product is poor. Obviously it's going back. I'll try a replacement, else I'll look at getting one of these roofbox liners. If only they we none slip rubber too!

I have had the official skoda one in my Mk 2 VRS for the last 3.5 years and it still looks great. I paid £50 for it but have never felt it was too much. If is heavily constructed and has saved my boot carpet from a fair few spillages etc. I intend to transfer it into my new ordered VRS estate.

Costco used to sell a very sturdy rubber boot liner for about £15...........might still stock em....

Took the boot liner back to dealers and they swapped it for another no problems. Checked the new one before taking it and all ok. Hopefully the original was just a dodgy manufacture.

Really I have dual floor and just ordered the skoda one. So it is too big or wrong shape?

The rubber bootliner is the right shape to work with the dual floor, however due to the gaps at the sides next to the cubby holes, it flops down. I fabricated some MDF inserts/stands to sit in the gaps and make the entire floor one level, the liner now fits perfectly. Make sure you get the rubber bootliner (which doesn't have a pronounced lip) rather than the plastic boot dish - as that has a large raised lip and doesn't work with the raised floor at all.

Hi i managed to pick one up brand new off ebay that fits my 2010 hatchback for £25, must have been in right place at the right time i thinks and it was not a knock off one :smirk:

The pre-FL liner in our Scout is exactly the same as the FL liner in my hatch.

Not quite, Skoda do list two different boot liners, one for the estate and one for the hatch.

Although very similar they are a slightly different shape along side the cubby holes, the estate is a little wider and the profile is more rounded under the boot lip. It depends how fussy you are as both will fit either car just without being a perfect fit.

Hatch: DCD610001

Estate: DCD620001

There is no difference between pre-faclift and facelift.

I have the genuine Skoda liner in my Scout (DCD620001) and would now like one for my hatch so am after a DCD610001. There are some Skoda dealers selling them on eBay for £56.99 inc. delivery (£51.99 for the DCD620001) which is quite expensive.

The one from www.roofbox.co.uk looks good but the surface isn't grippy enough to stop things sliding around. The Skoda one has rubber strips.

Anyone know where I can get a Skoda boot liner (DCD610001) for the lowest price?

I too have plastic boot dish and also raised floor and both seem to work fine for me, though there is the bit of overhang at the sides. I also have skoda dog guard and all three function together. The main drawback I find is when you want to access the underfloor bit as the boot tray can get in the way then.

Sarge.

The Skoda rubber one also cuts down the irritating road noise a bit...
