My L & K only took 8 days from production to dealer - I think it depends on how quickly the dealer pulls it off stock when built.

Mine was about a week and a half. You're nearly there

So there is a small chance I get it on March 1st....timing is pretty good tbh, as when I ordered I'd agreed for the new number plate.

I have been told to expect up to 5 weeks from leaving the factory to arriving at the UK dealer!

It sometimes depends on the timing of the ferries from Emden to the UK.

If your car arrives at Emden (Germany) and just missed the boat it might be 2 weeks for the next one.

Mine only took 6 days from build to get across the North Sea to Grimsby but then got 'stuck' there.

Was there for 2 weeks but it was Christmas and the heavy snow at the time caused some problems.

The car will come into the UK at Newcastle, Grimsby or Sheerness depending where your dealer is located in the UK.

Normally allow 4 weeks from build to you picking it up

Was my choice to have it on 1st Oct as wanted the Window tints fitted and I also added some extras after ordering which pushed the build week back.

Just been to see my dealer re my new L&K 1.8TSI DSG estate.

I had a build week 6 car. I haven't had any update since it was actually built (but didn't really expect to), I do hope it's on its way too!

I didn't expect it either. I was just visiting the dealer to hand a bit of paperwork he needed. He had just looked on the computer a few minutes before I arrived (he was about to ring me) and was as surprised as I was. I would make some positive enquiry with your dealer if I was you - might get a pleasant surprise - he might too !!

Mine was build week 6 and I will picking it up next week, monday I hope.

I think mine will be delayed waiting for DVLA to do my reg transfer. It'll be sitting at the dealers until that gets sorted. doh!

Ordered mine at end of January. Dealer says it's due to be built week 10 (ie w/b 8 March) and then should be delivered 19 March. My brother ordered his at same time but it's build is week 11 and due 26 March. Will be amazed if build to delivery is as quick as being suggested.

I ordered my Elegance estate beginning of February and have been told to expect delivery late June............thats 5 months! Hopefully, loking at the wait times being posted it wont be that long!
