Another Roomster convert

Featured Replies

I picked up my (new to me) Roomie yesterday. It's a silver 1.9 level 3

I've been looking for over a year - they are still quite rare in Dorset.

This is my first diesel and my first Skoda and initial impressions are that I am going to be a happy driver.

My R3 1.9 wasn't my first diesel, wasn't the largest engine either, but it's just about the best balanced. Decent performance, easy cruising and a remarkable amount of space. I'm very happy with it.

i get a bit of stick at work over the shape and stylling but i would not swap it

going to pass 100,000 this week, not bad for an 07 reg

Had mine 8 months now, it was a 2 month old demonstrator. Even the 1.6 petrol tiptronic is absolutely great and pulls our little 800kg caravan well. I wish I could have got the 1.9 diesel but needed an auto as SWMBO has a dodgy left knee and found a manual car painful to drive.

The shape doesn't bother me, the practicality is more important, but actually I've grown to love it.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed with yours.

I have my Roomster, a mere 1.2 litre petrol :), just over a week - it's an '07 with 26k miles and it's a little pocket rocket with more space than our previous car, a Nissan X Trail! How does it do that? Ok, we're somewhat more shoulder to shoulder - but other than that...

Great great little car that you'd steer with your little finger!

Took our other car out yesterday (BMW X3) and it felt like it had 4 flat tyres, it was so heavy by comparison - I even stopped into a garage to check tyre pressure - it was only v slightly off and driving wasn't any easier after!

The Roomie rocks!
