Hi All, I am new to this site and wandering if old skoda owners were welcome as they do not seem to get a mension but i am prepared to be proven wrong

Eddie you daft old trout! WELCOME TO AN OLD GEEZER!! Tell me are you a grumpy old man too? Well I'm VERY old apparently......53!! and some in here are even older!!!! :eek: I believe we have a member who's 70 something!!DISGUSTING!!!

Why you ask anyway? Don't tell me your over a ton!! :eek:

It really doesn't matter a jot...the more 'mature' members are generally more sensible, and can offer a lot more friendly and helpful advice than some of the young whippersnappers in our midst anyway!

Take me for instance with my charming youthful outlook on life!

Hi Eddie, you've totally confused us about whether you are referring to old Skodas or old Skoda owners or even old owners of old Skodas. If it helps, some of the old members here have new Skodas, and some of the younger members also have old Skodas. Pending your reply, welcome to Briskoda from an old(ish) owner of a (newish) Skoda.

Well, as someone who is counting the days till retirement, but driving a new(ish) Skoda, can I just say:

Briskoda is a site for old drivers of new Skodas, young drivers of old Skodas, and anyone in between. You don't even have to own a Skoda to be a member

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K

HI Got a new 2025 Karoq Sportline and I'm really disappointed with the speakers, sounds terrible. Had an Octavia from 2014 and that sounded better and that was not good. So my question, if I change the speakers I will need to take off the door covers and all buttons and lights, do I need to disconnect the battery and can I disconnect the battery without a lot flashing lights when connecting it back. Do I need an OBDII to turn off flashing lights or is there a manual way to do so ? Thanks.

Hi, Partner acquired this 2023 1.0 Fabia last year. So far, the resistor pack for the fan has packed (!) up and the actuator for the fuel flap needed replacing. These were done under warranty. She's had the car back from its MOT and warranty work and now there's a light on the dash saying "check brake lights." The light on the nearside is out and there's only one reversing light, on the offside. Are the rear lights all LED? No bulb I can change? If it is a bulb, how do I get to it? Are th

Hi all. I have a Skoda Octavia 2010, the facelift model. I have gotten my hands on two front seats from a Skoda Superb 3T: driver's seat electric, passenger seat not electric. My car is a left-hand drive vehicle. The wire loom beneath both seats has the connector decapitated. That means that the cables, the wire loom, just has all the cables sticking out. Could anyone advise where the different cables should be connected? I'm aware that going from both manually seat's to now electric wit
