My 1st ever Skoda

Featured Replies

Hello All,

So here I am saying Hi as I wait for delivery (Thursday 4th March 2010) of my first ever Skoda, a Superb 1.9 Tdi SE with Columbus Sat Nav & Sunset Glass.

Will be looking to remap quite quickly but will post questions about that in the correct place ....

I am looking forward to using here as a source of info - My wife has a 1.6 FSI A2 and I regularily visit the A2OC forum and they have been fantastic, so looking forward to you guys (and I am sure girls) answering my sometimes stupid and often lazy questions (I know the manual will tell me somewhere, but forum members often tell you more quickly and know a couple of little cheats too !!!)

Welcome :)

Welcome along. Good choice of car, you won't be dissapointed. Go on to the maintenance and performance section and I am sure you will find many people on there who have remapped their cars and are happy to point you in the right direction for the best options. Just a word of warning though, most people don't stop at a remap and modding your car is seriously addictive! Of course with a remap you need better handling and stopping and then you need more power to go with your better handling and stopping power you you end up modding more and more of the engine parts etc etc....... Modding is a road to bankruptcy guaranteed!! But worth every penny!!

Welcome Tony

You will have to learn to use the search button, every time it's not used we sacrifice a kitten to the Skoda God, Were getting low on Kittens...... :giggle:
