Hi,

I have had my car 8 weeks.................I parked in tescos and some idiot (I guess in a gold x reg Citroen as that was in the rear of his car and then pulled away as I came back) has hit my rear P/Side door and caused a nice pattern of 3 dints as shown in the picture you can see one of them.

Now normally all my other cars I would of went ah well and left it but I don't want to with this one I am looking after this one, whats the best way to repair them, theres no paint missing on 2 of them but one of the smaller dint does have some possible rubber marks on them but not scratches, does anyone know how much roughly this would be as you can see these arn't too bad it could of been alot worse!

Any companies do them? anyone know any local places up here?

Paintless dent removal company will have those out in 20 minutes. Try your local dent wizard or chips away. Should cost about £60. I hate supermarket car parks for this very reason. Some inconsiderate prat driving a shed just doesn't care.

I had the same done to me last weekend. Scratched and dented all in one swift move. I wouldn't mind but I'd parked miles away and they parked next to me even though I was in a sea of empty spaces. :'(

I have the phone number for chips away so I will call them tomorrow! the spoiler has some chips on it from previous owner so might give them a re done while at it, first car payment comes out next month didn't need expense!!! :'(

Dent devils is a nationwide company who are good, if you pay cash a panel is £50. When i park in the supermarket i choose the furthest space away. My wife says we might as well have caught the bus we are that far away. Channel ferrys are the worst though. Kids getting out of 4*4 s !!! Don`t know who to throw overboard 1st the kids or the Parents for letting them do it! I FEEL YOUR PAIN

Ah dent wizards I have that number ready to phone tomorrow! 50 quid is ok I can afford that I was worried incase it was going to be a massive bill!!!

I've only ever done that once due to there being nowhere else - everyone had parked badly. After a few hours, all the badly parked cars had gone but mine and it looked like I'd done it on purpose. Some one must have thought I was one of those tw@*s who takes up two spaces and taught me a lesson. A lovely ding in the door, right through the paint. I can see the dent as I type this and it makes me very cross to say the least.

I have in the past been very abusive and loud to people who have knocked my car in the past - much to my wife's embarrassment. Most are surprised by my anger and can't see the problem. I had a pop at one rotund lady and pointed out to her that if she ate less cake, she'd need less room to get out of her car.
