Well thats it, tonight I ordered my vRS. The spec can be seen below in my (updated) sig, but I feel I have to again mention the delivery date. March '05! Damn, even Xmas still seems a way off, nevermind next Spring! :eek:

Oh well, at least I can console myself with the thought I saved some pennies. I reckon I got a good deal:

Factory order vRS with options as listed below, full tank of diesel, finance option at 3.99% if I so wish and all for #12,200. How does this all compare with you guys? I know its only 50 quid below list, but with all the options the RRP is #13,460. I would be keen to hear other stories of dealers being beaten-down on price...!!

Anyways, thank you all who have replied to my previous posts as your knowledge and insight has been most helpful. And thanks to everyone else as I have picked up a great deal of knowledge just browsing this forum for the last 2 weeks.

if the new Octy vRS is gonna have a diesel in it then i think we'll have to expect time scales of that length!!!

I was quoted 12 weeks but arrived after around 8 - you never know.
