Thanks.

I use some software called Tintii and then finish it off with photoshop CS4.

Cool, like the one with the, Swiss?, flags. Nice work

Very nice mate!

You will have to show us how to do it

I used to do this sort of thing with "wet" prints & photo ink pens! Would still feel more at home in a darkroom!

Still I'll get my head round PS 4 one day!!!!!

I agree look great, I have just bought a DSLR getting photoshop ? and would love to know how you added the colour. Yes the Flags look good but I like the first one awsome mate

Thanks for the positive comments one and all..... (They're Maltese flags ;) )

I think my faves are the red wheeled Bug and the green ivy clad little building..... And the cameras used if anyone were interested were a mix of my Nikon D90 ,(The three green images), and my little Panasonic Lumix DFX-100 compact. The first one is also up for voting on the interfacelift.com wallpaper site so please vote if you like it I have WS and FS versions of it if anyone wants it as wallpaper in the meantime though. I'm gonna be entering the red wheeled bug on there in the next few days too.

To answer how it's done.....

I use the Tintii software (IT'S FREE!!!!! :) ) to remove all but certain colours. My tip is increase the amount of colours it'll seperate to to it's maximum.

Once i've got everything in colour that i want i then save the image and then open it in CS4.

I also open a copy of the image in CS4 and make the copy greyscale before then selecting around the item i want in colour, (The Tintii software will also put some slight colour into other parts of the image).

I then inverse the selection so it copies the rest of the image in greyscale and paste over the top of the partially coloured image to get rid of any colour Tintii put elsewhere in the image.

Then i play about with various filters and settings to get the image how i like it and it's done.

I know that made sense to me but maybe not to you guys.

Cheers

Dave.

As has been said they are all excellent!

My favourites are 2 and 3- remind me of an old John Fox album....

But the last one has stunning reflections on the car.

One things for sure... We'll all have to up our game in the photo comps!!! :S

I did this a little while back using photochop and a couple of layers, it went onto canvas and into the dining room.

Nice pics above wavey

 Been there too, what a plank I am

I like them a lot, especially 1, 3 the flags and Herbie.

I'm not too sure about the Train at Grosmont (I know the place very well). I think it should have been another part of the train in colour, possibly the whole boiler or something like that.

Cheers..... Number one is my fave of the bunch too. The boiler is black so looks no different in the full colour pic to this version. ;)
