......and also Chrysler, SEAT, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Scania, and Lamborghini....

where's the lambo garage then?

Yes salivating is a good word

Gone for ESP and auto changer, other options not of interest to me. Going for tracker with speed camera detector instead - I think i'll be needing it.

Colour red as current car is black and nightmare to keep clean especially where i live next to sea. Yellow naff and silver dull in my opinion.

Thought of waiting till march but couldn't resist and I don't think the 6 month plate change will make as much difference to price sell on as before, as long as mine gets registered in 2005 saying that! Always had dreams of getting a new car on birthday, aug 1st, spoilsports!

I've had it a week now and done 450 miles. I filled it up at the beginning of the week, and then filled it up again this morning, and worked out how economical it is. The on-board computer says 58mpg, and my calculation agrees with this figure. My journeys are an equal mixture of A/B roads, urban areas, and dual carriageways. My driving style consists of keeping to the legal limits on A/B roads, and sticking to 80mph on dual carriageways, and never going over 3000rpm or using full throttle. This is really good, saves me a fortune :)

I also checked the oil level. It's filled to the top kink of the dip stick, which is about 5mm higher than the top of the hatched area. It came like this, so I guess it's where it is supposed to be. Maybe it's slightly overfilled at the factory to allow for running in, but for all intents and purposes it looks like it's using no oil.
