VRS - What options can be retro-fitted?

Featured Replies

You can retro fit the following:

- You can also retro fit front and rear OEM parking sensors but no idea of cost

Carl

I was quoted £350 for rear sensors by the Skoda Main Dealer.

If you do produce a guide for the retrofit's you have done that would be great

P.S. Sorry for the thread revivel, i'm doing some fishing around :p

No but i can knock one up when i get back from honeymoon Mid April if you want

Carl

My condolences mate........ :giggle:

Has anyone mentioned a Multi-function steering wheel yet ?

or bespoke leather - seats , arm/head rests & door cards giving plenty of colour/ combinations and stitching choices.

For £12500 you can have my 08 plate Race blue TDI, 23k mls, Factory Nav, Factory Xenons, Factory rear parking, Factory rear blind and storage bin on shelf, Factory auto lights and wipers, Factory cruise and Maxidot, Bury CC9060 bluetooth etc etc

Got a face lift on order and that was the trade in price, match it and she's yours :)

No advert as last time I sold my petrol vrs I had no replies.

But if anyone is seriously interested in it, I'm open to PMs but sadly no offers as this was the trade in price.

Any pic for anyone, plese just ask.

Sorry for the thread revival but I'm interested in the L&K LED door handles and the cat-vision interior light has anyone got part numbers for these?

Many Thanks

BIG Nick :)

For L&K door handle lights

Left hand doors - 3U0919173

Right hand doors - 3U0919174

Obviously you need 1 of each to just do the fronts and 2 of each if you have rear elec windows to wire into.

For W8 Light - 3U0 947 105 2EN. Thats for a grey version it also comes in beige. None come in black that I have found. That is also Skoda version with Green Lighting and LED's. You can get them on EBay as well. You also need a wiring loom making.

I did a tutorial here W8 Installation

Cruise control is a must have - but can be retrofitted for under £200.

If you want parking sensors that integrate with the display on the head unit then its essential they were fitted at the factory, otherwise a retrofit would be VERY expensive.

Make sure its got 18" wheels, rear electric windows, jumbobox (arm rest) and climate control ;) This was a free option for a long time (and is now part of the standard spec), but there are a few cars around without (Carl :p) and they are much less desirable.

Don't take the description on adverts as gospel either, most have a spec discrepancy or three. ;)

I had a standard car with the free option pack, and retrofitted cruise, and I didn't feel like it was missing anything important.

I have a VRS estate and it didnt have parking sensors front and rear. They charged me £415 to fit them. they are colour coded so look the same as factory ones although the difference is that i have a display on the dash and at the rear of the car and the good old beep beep beep beeeep sounds when using them.

Carl, do you know if these are the same parts for the FL?

I ask as I'm new to Skoda and not to sure on what they changed on the FL! (apart from the front end of course)

I've noticed in VCDS there is a tick box as to whether you have LED door handles or not so is a case of there maybe a connector on the door loom currently unpopulated?

Many Thanks

can a rear wiper be retro-fitted on the vRS liftback?

i realised i didn't tick that option when i put the order in back in june. i don't want to change it now in fear of delaying my order.

Hi Mike,

The further link in your thread no longer works, was the forum layout changed recently? Slightly OT now, but reading various old threads I've come across quite a few older links to other threads that no longer work.
