Just got my Elegance 170 Tdi and love it.

How do I get my phone book from my mobile to work with the unit?

The message I keep getting is Telephone book not available?

What phone do you have?

have a look under the phonebook settings under the phone menu, try changing from either sim/phone to the other option and see if the address book downloads.

Thanks for the replies but still cannot manage it. When I connect the phone it does not prompt me for the phone book and when I go into the menu it tells me that phonebook is not available.

is there a sync option, also numbers need to be in the phone memory rather than sim memory, i had to change all my contacts to phone for it to work in my halfords after market bluetooth phone stereo system i've purchased

I have an E51 as well as an HTC Touch2 working.

I'm going to assume you have paired the E51 and the car Bluetooth.

1) Go into Menu -> Connectivity -> Bluetooth

Check 'Remote Sim Mode' is ON

2) Press the right button and scroll to Skoda_rSAP

3) Press options and set as 'Authorised'

4) Go back to the main menu

5) Select Contacts

6) Select Options via the bottom left button and scroll down to 'Sim Contacts' and select 'Sim Directory'

7) Check all your required contacts are there, if not use the Copy option to copy numbers to the SIM

Then go back to the car and try to update your phone book

Thanks but I tried all that and still no joy. I will call to my local Skoda dealer and see if they can help.
