What make and model tyres have people had when taking delivery of their 18 inch tyres on the vrs please?

Not got mine yet but it used to be Dunlop maxi sports (i think) but more recently people have been receiving Continentals on their new cars

When i had my car delivered in march it had Continentals on.

March 6th delivery Conti Sport tyres

Conti Sport on my March delivery too.

Delivery last November; Dunlops.

April 10th - Conti's

Dunlop Sports Maxx GT - AA traction rating

Skoda and most other mid brand car firms buy batches from premium tyre producers and therefore switch brands quite regularly. With the current transport issues (as well as cost as Czech Rep not in EURO area) Skoda will shop around the half dozen premium brands. Probably only pay around 50 Euros a tyre! You can get a full sized spare, (well 205/55-16) with V rated spare off Skoda for 50 quid and that includes the steel rim!

The Conti Sports on my car are made in the Czech Republic anyway. German engineering is what it says on the outside rim i.e. "designed in Germany"

Interesting you say that as I didn't seem to be getting much grip either but they get a good write up generally.
