Ah recently ive bought (after ages of looking for the right one) another Fabia VRS as I required another derv, I had a 53 plate one a few years ago, this one is an 04 plate and having owned a remapped octy vrs and 325ci last I was expecting it to be not as fast but it goes much better than I remember my last one did. Not much in first gear but 2nd 3rd and 4th just pulls and pulls really strongly. The private seller never said it was remapped but is their any obvious way of checking? I have noticed the fuel economy to be slightly less than i remember but that could be because with the extra oopmh im putting my foot down a lot more.

You cant really tell without getting it onto a rolling road, a pro can by reading the ECU but thats going to cost more money.
