Have just got my Fabia vRS :D Amazing!!!!

Dealer has recommended that I get it supagarded at a cost of

I had it done by the dealer before delivery and believe it was worth every penny. It makes cleaning the car much easier and dead fly removal an absolute breeze.

My dad also had it done on his car after seeing how it looked on mine.

Where are you based? A certain member in MK has a friend that will do it for alot less.

Not sure if its worth it or not as I haven't had it done. I like cleaning my car, gets me out of the house and out of the way on SWMBO. :D

I've just had mine done with JewelUltra Diamondbrite... Very similar stuff...

Cost me 10 quid and about an hour of my time.

Thankyou eBay!

Was recommended to me too...personally I think for

The dealer where I got mine from sold Surelook to me, seems to make cleaning it much easier but I was only charged

As Rob says, you can buy a bundle of high quality products, eg Swissol or Meguiars, and keep your car looking nice for years to come ansd still be in pocket. If the manufacturers thought that aftermarket products being pushed by dealers would help sell more cars, they would do it at the factory. I class Supagard etc along with Winns additives and similar products - nice money-earners for dealers but of questionable usefulness and value for money.

Obvioulsy I've only put it on today, so can't vouch for its longevity, but the Diamondbrite is pretty much the easiest product I've used (and I've used a lot), and the results are very very nice indeed.

I *was* a Zymol addict (Titanium Wax etc), but it's such a pain in the bum to use and doesn't last very long...

It'll be interesting to see how long Diamondbrite lasts (beading water and looking sweet) as it can be picked up very cheap on eBay and I don't ever want to spend 60 quid on a pot of wax again!!

as it can be picked up very cheap on eBay

I was interested in the eBay stuff, but naturally suspicious - is the person you got it off a regular seller - I might get some.

I would have thought he's a valeter who makes full bottles out of his leftovers, but that might just be me putting 17 and 8 together lol

or adding water to the bottles?

well, whatever he's done, It's made my car very sparkly and smooth lol

There is allways polish left over, thats why i have a few kits handy for my car :)

Wouldn't bother with Supagaurd as in my experience it's been rubbish. I had the Octavia vrs done which was a waste of money as I could have spent the
