Just curious to see how you percieve/ describe the Muscovado colour to others.

Gold when seen in sunlight, brown when in shade.

Definitely more Bronze than Brown.

Looks Bronze to me ;-)

Though I note that the Skoda paperwork at the dealer calls it brown.

I'll second the brown like sugar comment

One of my pet hates are those made-up colour names like "ocean", "sand", "spaceship", "trifle" or whatever; why can't they just say "dark blue" or "silver"?

In this case though I think Muscovado hits the nail pretty squarely on the head.

My Yamaha colour is "BS4" which stands for "Bluish Silver 4". Is that simple enough?

Elegantly simple, with a hint of the mysterious. Perfect.

Definately Brown like it's crystaline sugar namesake which also sparkles in sunlight :p

( I still prefer His snow camouflage though )
