GTI International 2010 26/27 June - Free entry both days if you enter the Show 'n' Shine

Featured Replies

The organizers are giving FREE entry again on both days to Show 'n' Shine entrants. For more details see http://www.autometrix.co.uk/gti2010/shownshine.html . You can download the entry form here. The completed form needs mailing to [email protected]. If you want a camping pass too, you'll have to call 01525 750500 and pay a small supplement.

I went to Inters for the first time since 2000 last year and I really enjoyed it. Both days were good and the camping was a laugh. We had four Skodas in the show 'n' shine last year, it would be great to increase that number this year. I'm going to do both days again this year, camping just on the Saturday night.

Going to be better organized this time and try and get a couple of sprint runs done without passengers, 2 coolboxes full of cider, a fridge full of meat, bbq, tent, etc. Last year's effort was shameful. That said, all that weight is good for making your car lower for the SnS. Hmmm

Post in this thread if you're coming B)

no deffo me its going to be getting a lick of paint ;)

Last year was without doubt the best show in years and I will likely be going again. Hoping to take the Octy, but don't have a club stand to be on so may just go in my mates 110 Passat for the cheapness! Would be nice to see more Skodas in the show n shine and around the camping as well tho B)

Typical! As was there year before and it was a washout!

It was a return for me as used to go all the shows when they were at the TRL in Crowthorne and to be honest never seen a turn out the like of the mid 90's(got loads of pics)

when people would visit from all over Europe(big numbers) and make for a very entertaining weekend!

Will deff be going with Bro in law(Corrado G60 owner) but as car is new not going to enter 'show and shine' as would feel a bit of a cheat!

Be good to see a Briskoda contingent though! :)

Club Stand next year maybe? I would be up for it.

Looking forward to this now. Will have the new wheels on and hopefully get it lowered in time.

I've paid £60 for the whole weekend :o but I have pre-booked 8 runs down the 1/4 mile at the cheaper in advance price. B)

Yeah I know a few old timers from the TRL days. I first went in 2004 and I've been most years since. I was hit by one of the washouts......

Generally though, Bruntingthorpe is a great venue and now that camping is on site, I'm predicting a big show this year. Last year really was great and a lot of people will have gone away and talked about it. I think it could be on its way back.

Looking forward to it! emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Prey for good weather!

When time allows gonna post a few pics from first show at Knebworth in 1988!

Very much a Mk1 and 2 affair then! emoticon-0100-smile.gif

Just too damn warm. Watched the first half of the match on iphone.tvcatchup.com sat stationary on the M1 because of an accident, got home 5 mins into the second half.

Bet you wish that delay on the M1 had taken an extra 45 minutes to clear, then you would have been spared the agony of watching it

I was watching it at the show! I left on 77 minutes
