Went to brid today for a nice day out, parked up, bought ticket

for £3.50, put on dashboard, and bit of wind( not from me!!) and ticket got eaten down dash board between windscreen and dash........b***tard!!

Doesn’t the Octy still come with a ticket holder built into the side of the windscreen?

Only ask as I had something similar happen in my 123D. I shut the door and the ticket I had just bought at Newcastle Central Station, blew off the dash (wouldn’t have happened in my Octy) and I got a £30 fine. Took a few weeks and a lot of work from me, but eventually proved I had bought a ticket and was ‘let off’.

That little bit of plastic is one of the best features on the car! Who ever thought of it was a genius.

Oops, I lost a bit of paper there too. I was able to get it back though.

I've lost a few tax discs down the back of dashboards over the years which is always very sad.

Got to say that I have owned several cars from Fiats and Hillmans to BMWs and hopefully an Audi (build the ruddy thing Audi!!!) and not one of them has had anything so useful as the little plastic clip. Best thing since crinkle cut chips
