All the guys on here, shark & jabbasport etc are a good 3 hours away from me. Locally ive got revo and superchips dealers close to me and so i am pursuaded to go for the Superchips map offered by janspeed. Quoted £400 for a generic remap and for printouts on the rollers afterwards.

Can anyone suggest anyone else in my neck of the woods as im a bit stuck.

If you still wanted one of our maps, you could have the STS device (see www.sharkperformance.co.uk/sts.asp) which would save you travelling to us, and comes in at a similar price to the price you quoted. Not to mention that it's reusable and you can read and clear fault codes with it

Is it a case of saving the original map, and the new map to my laptop, and i could switch between then (uploading them to the STS device) at any time?

Yes, the STS device stores your original and two modified maps. We use this space to hold a Performance map and an Immobiliser map. You don't need to swap them manually, they're all stored in the STS

So once there on the STS device i can put away the laptop, and just swap them over with the STS device itself... Seeing as your doing 20% off today, can you give me a price for a generic fabia vrs remap, and the STS device including postage. Thanks

Yes that's right, once you have configured the STS with your maps, everything is stored on the device so there is no reason to plug it back into the laptop, unless you change car and want to reuse the device

Including the 20% off (which I should have actually removed as it's no longer bank holiday! ) the total cost including delivery is £377.99.
