Hi - from scooby to skoda!

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, thought i'd register as am swapping my scooby for a vRS - just got to wait about 10 days for it to complete.

Know nothing about the vRS compared to scoobies so starting out as a newbie all over again!

Right off to have a look around and do a bit of reading up - any pointers on good threads for me to pick up some of the facts I should know about?

Cheers

Hi,

I'm going the other way once I sell my vRS!

Enjoy your new car :D

Steve

Welcome to Briskoda. Plenty info around the site regarding the Octy vRS's. Have a good read.

B2Z, welcome :wavey:

The RS is a cracking car and you can have a lot of fun with it. Plenty of info on this site, any specific questions just ask and I'm sure someone will be able to answer it.

Welcome, I went STI to Octy just under 2 years ago, still smiling & with a bank balance now. Octys still on its original Engine as well !!! despite being driven enthusiastically

Cheers, yep done if for family/bank balance reasons and the huge boot to fit everything in - will need to visit Jabbasport though :D

Gonna miss the scooby massively :( but hopefully will enjoy the vRS just as much :)

Welcome B2Z

I remember your handle from a certain Scooby site that I used to frequent before the site-owner went totally OTT.

I'm sure you'll find much more reasonable people on here.

I'm sure you will too!

You may have a long search for them though ;)

Not quite sure what you mean????

Congratulations B2Z.

You will find one or two familiar usenames on here as many Scooby owners are now Skoda owners. :)

Cheers

Cheers all :)

Fabpreza it was the original garage I went to on Saturday who offered me silly money for the scoob who came back to me with a better offer on Monday, I still said it wasn't good enough and 10 mins later he phones back and agrees to my offer :D So got the colour I wanted as I like the black the best and obviously they are the fastest ;)

Lee got to keep my postings down as of Monday start a new job so better not spend too much time on here during working hours or may get in trouble :o:D

Yeah, but he's a lightweight on the other site as well :P

Who me? :p I've certainly cut down my postings due to scoobynet actually being raised as a concern in an appraisal I had in the summer lol :D

I had a similar thing happen last year.

Told them that if they had a problem with it they should sack me.

My Boss told me I can post as often as I want & spend as long as I want in here, Guess thats one advantage of being your own Boss

Welcome B2Z.

A vRS? Hmmmmmm a scary sight in the rear view mirror IIRC :D :D
