looks proper nice, almost menacing from the front, especially when you see it in your rear-view mirror.

but once it's gone past you, and you see it from the back ? Dear oh dear oh dear:

They are really very nice to drive, and the back will grow on you

Prefer the ol' girl myself. Quiet, lovely to drive and non of that "was that Citroen ?" when it goes past you, like the current attempt at an XJ.

They didn't. It was designed in Britain, by the British while under the ownership of Ford.

I'm fairly confident that Tata have left Jag to it since they took over too, as they know when to leave alone.

So don't go blaming the "Indians" when it's nothing to do with them.

indeed, as they have with LandRover. And atleast for the future they are leaving most of the production over he...........so jolly good on them!

I have to say it looks good, yes the back is not that great but when do you look at the rear of your car

but don't you want other people to be admiring your rear as you waft past them?

I absolutely love them. I intend to have one in a few years. My wife's uncle is a serial XJ buyer. Just got to wait for him to buy one and then buy it off him when he's done with it.
