Re-map issues?

Ben is there a way to tell? I have a full version of VCDS if that would show something up?

Ideally i'd prefer to have your stage 1 map after seeing how smooth it came out on the rolling road. But you're miles away from me and STS would be the only sensible option, don't really want to pony up for one only to find it wont work :-(

Revo's solution is i remove the ECU and mail it to them.

There's no way to tell definitively without trying, no, but there would be no problem with you taking an STS to try with a refund if it did turn out to be protected?
