Does anybody on here live in or around the rotherham/sheffield area? Or up north in general!

The only reason I ask is that I am seeing a freaky rise in the number of octy and fabia vrs's around at the moment :eek: (especially a red furbie not 2 mins walk from my house) and would like to see if I could put some names to cars, so to speak

I live a bit further north than Sheffield in the South Leeds.Wakefield area and there are loads of vRS's about. There are 3 Furby vRS's in the carpark where i work! And i must see a couple more on the short 10 mile drive into work.

got my octy from a bloke in wakefield, and sister-in-law lives in leeds. Plus car was originaly from D M Kieth in leeds.

Anyone Know if this dealer is still going, or has it succumed to the daihatsu curse? :(

P.S does everyone else keep up with the vrs flash/wave thing?

I live on the border of Sheffield and Rotherham. (2 minutes east of Chapletown)

Black (best colour coz you can't see the side rubbing strips, neetmare to clean though) VRS with Miltek de-badged grille. Often to be seen childishly racing Scoobys and Beemers up and down the M1.

No your right mate full on Christmas festive tat! involving ladders, tie raps, gaffer tape and lots of multi plugs

Still the kids love it, worth the four cold hours on ladders to see there faces when they are turned on (and mine too, thinking of the electric meter :eek: )

I'm from Stockport but I work in South Leeds just down the road from D.M Keith. Mine's a black octy vrs 230bhp by Jabba + Jabba's induction kit (with full Darth Vader sound effects). Does anyone know of a Milltech supplier/fitter locally?

That's where I call home. I'm an outsider though, from parts beyond Rotherham. If you were to ask someone to chose where they would really want to live, anywhere in the UK, I doubt Rotherham would feature very highly.
