It's mostly pollen, my car is filthy again after washing it two days ago, and it's been nowhere! The volcanic ash is currently getting blown slightly north of Iceland.

Mine was exactly same I thought someone had been doing DIY!

Its pollen

maybe thats what is attacting the flys to commit mass murder on my car :(

Yeah really not happy. I washed my car this weekend as I start a new job and thought why not when this morning I came out to find a fine layer of dust on it - less than 24 hours later. :(

At least with pollen it will all be gone with a rinse or better still a quick snow foam.

At the moment it seems to be dusty/pollen/ash/bird**** in about an hour

Accept it will look crap for a week and just wash it at weekends.

The worst of the pollen will soon be gone so it's not the end of the world.

Tree pollen and suicidal flies :giggle:

I get half way through washing the car and its already accumulated a thick veneer of the stuff..

Of course it probs doesnt help that its parked next to a big flowery bush

If it's rained then it is ash/ sand, gave the octy a good seeing to then it peed it down yesterday, this morning it looked like someone had tipped a kids sand pit over the car :(
