I thought you checked your hoses yesterday?

i did only the ones related to the n75 and round that area so is this the problem gutted as i just spent £72 on the n75

Doh, the first thing I did when I was told to check my hoses was rip them all out.

Well you can either try and take it back to Skoda, keep it cos you will need it, or sell it.

i know r well wont hurt it to have it on i suppose pmsl can u get uprated hoses for where mine has split fingers crossed thasts the problem in all honesty this is the second time time its played up in 4 years so cnt grummble

I ripped all the problem pipes out, with the help of WestallC, and bypassed a few things.

I got rid of the Y on top of the engine, all the breather hoses from underneath the manifold and a lot of the vacuum hoses.

All the hoses I put back in were Samco so should be good for a while.

Now looks like this...

that is sweet mate ok at r-tech tomoz see what he can do with them thanks for pic

Probably have the 17705 error code.

Check all the common hoses and clean the throttle body. 90% of the time it's one of two breather hoses, or a dirty throttle body.

So that's 91% now then...... :giggle:

Glad you've found the source of the problem mate, the breather hoses strike again! We've literally all been there. Both of the common hoses were totally split when I first bought my car, causing the CEL to come on as I was driving it home for the 1st time!! Luckily a local specialist knew about the issue from Audis, so had me running perfectly in a day. I've since modified the breather system, so it should never happen again!

Bit of a shame about the wasted money on the N75, but then like you say you know it won't be that next time! Plus you have a spare now.

just for eveyone who is reading this post and is having trouble these breather pipes nick at r-tech told me tyesterday that he has kits coming in to bypass all of this and if i remember right he said three pipes (forge ones cnt remember now lol ) bu iam defo going for this option as soon as they come in .................... at this rate when i book my car back in its going to be a all day job on mine lol

You can get rid of some of the problem hoses by fitting a catch can

Most of my hoses, original by the looks of them, were really really soft. No splits but it was a matter of time.

Also, the black plastic brake servo hoses at the back of the engine go really brittle.
