My new Candy White vRS........

Featured Replies

Cracking car and the best colour, i picked mine up about 2 weeks ago in white and absolutly love it.

As for the cleaning thing ( which i love doing BTW) i have had black and white cars before and black is a lot harder to keep clean than white.

If you buy silver they stay clean forever - well at least look like they do!!

smashing motor.... I would say that, I've a white vRS estate ;-) it totally looks the biz when clean :-) (I snowfoam mine most weekends as the lazyman's way to get the grot off)..

had stick for getting white - but why would i care what other less-informed fools think?

A work colleague who bought a scirocco (you know, that really "cool looking car") last year came in one day and said: I'm totally in love with your car...

so, I say to you - good choice!

I've just ordered a candy white vRS after dribbling over these pictures for a few weeks. But I've still got that little niggle saying . . . . . "don't be a chav - you're far too old"!!

Had to google what MFSW was, bloody acronyms < how come that is such a long word abbreviated too!! > I just steer with mine! :giggle: cant see why you need them ,you can set the radio to come on at a level and increase with speed anyway! Enjoy B) EDIT like butterflies with 5 cars! < 70s sitcom>and i¬m 49 and mine is race blue

MFSW on my car is very good.

Much easier than using the radio dials and the Maxidot works better than on the stork too.

As for blue....Nah...everyone has blue!!

works better than on the stork too.

I've only got two stalks on my car - where did you manage to get a stork from ? B)

Its you thats stalking me Brimma!!!.....and my 'typo's' :moon:

I can't believe I have had so many comments about the vRS - all positive. People can't quite believe that you can get such a brilliant, good looking, sporty car for a fraction over £16K. Everytime I slip behind the wheel I smile to myself. i have only put on just over 300 miles in 9 days, the fuel guage reads just under three quarters full (I filled it up with about 35 miles on the clock).

A few observations, the seats are fantastic and very supportive on the sides, the steering wheel is chunky, which I like - just wish Skoda squared of the bottom like the Lean FR and Golf/Scirocco/Audi TT that would have been a great touch. The stereo is much better than I thought it would be, MDI option is good, I can control all of the iPod functionality on the touchscreen. Shame that a MFSW isn't standard, it is a bit of a bore to stretch across for the volume and to change tracks.

I have become a Skoda convert....absolutely no regrets and I am looking forward to a few years of economical and fun motoring.

anymore updates on your new steed?....tell us more !

sorry to change the subject 'bluvrs2' but i was wondering if you regularly park your vrs (09 plate i believe) in the aa taxi rank based in shipley as i have passed it many times???.

Just heat it up and cut through it with cotton and pick the residue off with your fingers and then polish any remaining.
