Ordered first skoda in late march, a racing blue petrol vrs. Was concerned about timescale for delivery as off on hols middle July and dealer said to expect early July delivery. Build week was 21, rang dealer this morning and told that estimate for arrival at dealer is 19 June so hopefully will be driving it soon after that!!

Spoke to my dealer Tuesday. Ordered my Black vRS 30/3/10 and he thinks it'll be at the dealers on Monday. He's due to confirm tomorrow.

So you never know it may be with you sooner than you think!

If you're anything like me the wait will be killing you by now!

Was told on Friday that my car was on the boat on the way over so hoping to goodness I'll have it by the end of this week/early next week.

Ordered VRS 2.0T FSI DSG Estate with all extras 30th March, told delivery June 10th. Have been chasing dealer for updates as they don't contact me, kept being told in production in 2 weeks. Went to dealer today,now told production july 29th and delivery first week of August!! 25 weeks!! Just keep getting told delays due to lack of engines! really annoyed as I wanted the car for summer holiday.

Seems like your car was on the 'City of Sunderland' ship that i was tracking in to the Port of Tyne on marinetraffic.com in the hope/expectation that mine was on it. Turns out it wasn't so ive got to wait for the next boat whenever that may be :(

sounds a bit like mine. I was told by skoda that it would be on a boat early this week and yet they are now saying its still in emden awaiting shipping and is likely to be 3 weeks. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. I wonder if skoda will let me collect the car from the docks?

My week 20 build is in Emden, according to the Dealers. Been there since Monday. Probably still be there when the new footie season starts. I give up!

I ordered on 4th May and have been told 14th July for delivery. Hope it's not delayed until Sept like yours.

Hi - similar situation here. I have an 07 petrol VRS estate - had it over 3 years and ordered a new VRS 2.0T FSI Estate with a lot of extras but no DSG on 31st March. Got a great deal with the Skoda dealership and was told it would be 10 - 12 weeks although it was normally a week or so sooner for delivery. That sounded right as it was exactly the same when I ordered my first car 3 years ago. I hadn't heard anything so 9 weeks to the day ( last Wednesday ) I phoned the dealership for an update, expecting to receive my new car imminently, only to be told it wouldn't even be built for another 4 weeks and then it would be 3 weeks for delivery ! I'm not too happy and although I know they will honour the deal and trade in price of my old car I'm now considering cancelling and looking for something else.

Anyone else out there with a similar issue ?
