Looks fishy, the ebayer should not even have the logbook because the previous owner is now responsible for sending it back to the dvla.

Not always, I have owned 2 cars in the past that were and still are hpi clear that had been involved in quiet serious accidents. Both were BMW's. one had been in a hard frontal, and the other had been side swiped down the passenger side and also had some frontal damage.

If anyone is genuinely interested in this it would be worth getting the details of the previous keeper and asking him about the cars history and who he sold it to

I would get a HPI check done on it and then an AA check to see if the car has any crash damage that you can't see easily etc etc.
