Turning to the right

Featured Replies

All

I have posted previous that my vrs drifts to the left when the steering wheel is straight. i can live with that.

What i now have is on moving the wheel, even a smallest fraction to the right, there is a very noticeable almost rubbing / groaning noise.

This happens only when turn right, but dont even need to be turning to the right just move the wheel, ie car stays in the same lane etc.

This is more noticable above 30mph and gets louder as greater the speed when the wheel is moved (moved, rather than actual a turn)

Is this sort of noise, likely to be a bearing?

Thoughts be appreciated

Thank you

Thanks, will get looked at when next service is due, in about a month or so.

much appreciated

If it's noticable when turning to the right, then it is probably the left side bearing.
