Oh jeez man, with a huss like that the neighbours ain't gonna be too please with you putting a Skoda on the drive, huss values could drop and you will get the blame for it.

Seriously though, car looks lovely, and should you have a nearby snob, just tell them to go to car school before they write it off, I can tell you straight the Skoda is better put together and finished off than the VW's are, having owned both I know the Skoda is the better product, even the trade will tell you a Skoda is the better of the two these days, I put it down to a flippant German workforce and over confident management vs a Czech workforce with something to prove and a mangement team that wants to kill the old rep off for good and show how it's done.

Me too, previous car was a vw passat estate ( elegance spec), and there is no comparison, skoda superb wins on all counts, :yes:

And my tuppenceworth..... Two A4 Avants in the past 5 years, got a 170 Elegance Estate DSG 6 weeks ago.

Less money than a new A4 Avant, easily as well built, much better equipped and has lots of nice quirky things like the umbrella in the door and the boot light torch.

Looks like Audi and VW's biggest competition is from within!!!
