Not had the misfortune to use air pump yet,would it be a decent tool to check and maintain 50lbs pressure on my caravan tyres , or is a decent foot pump preferable ? Be getting a spare soon for my Yeti, bemused as to why we don,t get a spare wheel instead of this crappy method of dealing with a puncture.

Bought a decent foot pump ,got both options covered for my extensive tour of European counties.

After a spate of loose valve caps and suspiciously looking tyres ,I got one of the cheapo 12 v pumps .Bit with either , I'd suggest a decent pressure gauge those circular ones are a bit iffy .
