well its not specified on the option list so dedution says it should do i will scout through the spects to have a look

and yh neal will know but the specs say nothing about mats but they are shown on the pics,if there not standard they must surely be an option or maybe a dealer fitted accesory

n/a petrol's are junk down the quarter.... you have to use the revs to get them into lift cam then while you wait for that it kicks in and in first you wheelspin like a fruit, change to second... as you've been wheel spinning your again below lift cam and have to wait.... farce

whereas turbo get it rolling bang it into second and off you go!

i had a corolla tsport 189bhp vvtli same idea as a civic type r and was getting minced off fabia vrs off the line.... but running i would catch them towards the quarter

Well I had an EP3 about 2 years ago, AEM long ram intake, full exhaust system from Magnex and a Hondata programmable ECU (for launch control) and it used to destroy any hot hatch off the line, the only thing (in the same class) that beat me on the quarter-mile was a stage 2 focus ST that was modded beyond belief - LSD etc.

My mate also has a Corolla t-sport and although it is quite impressive it has nowhere near the amount of traction that the Type-R does.

I know a tad off topic, but you can't tar every N/A petrol car with the same brush IMO

running the tsport should be quicker than a type r.... i pulled away from one... unless he missed vtec :giggle:

ive also had an ek9 with b18c6 with s80 lsd.... was better lol
