Ordered mine on the 18th of June, build date of Week 37, we shall see.

well mine was ordered 29th april :wonder: im still waiting, has a call from the dealer yesterday, they said that its on the ship (well i already knew that) and it will take about 2 weeks :'( they said that when it arrives at the dealers they will ring me again to see if i want it right away or wait 5 days for a 60 plate, decisions dicisions, what will i do, the tension is killing me, i go away on the 30th dont come back till the 2nd, they are taking my old astra as part ex, but the tax runs out at the end of the month , o well i have to bomb about in wifes cleo for a few days

New to the forum, so hello everyone!

I've got an order placed for:

VRS CR DSG in Race Blue

Xenons,

Leather,

Auto Lights,

Rear Parking Sensors,

Spare Wheel

The order was placed at the very beginning of June (2nd i think) and i have got a build week of 38 (20th Sep) and estimated delivery of wk 40 i believe.

Never got the information off the dealer however Skoda Customer Services gave me the build week, my factory order number and have told me i can ring them as often as i like to check for any updates to the cars progress.

I was told however informally that this could be being pushed forward when the factory re-opens and to ring and check at the beginning of august. The wait seems to be never ending!

I ordered the car in mid May and was told that it would be built in build week 30. When I was abroad, I received a text on 3rd August letting me know it was buit. Last Monday it was at Emden and I have been informed that is being shipped. So far nothing but praise for the Skoda experience.

I think it depends on the options you order. Or maybe colour. Presumably they make batches of one colour before cleaning the painting equipment for the next colour.

Anybody had any feedback on the impact of the floods shutdown on their deliveries yet?

Just had notification that my CR Vrs is at Grimsby awaiting delivery to dealer which may be tomorrow or Friday. Either way, it should be available for me to pickup on Sept 1st. I put the order in on May 18th for delivery on 1st Sept so the dealer is bang on there. Car is Silver Octavia diesel Vrs, DSG with parking sensors, auto dim, rain sensor and light assist, spare wheel, maxi-dot and xenons. Excellent service I reckon.

just had a call from my dealer this morning. My car is now scheduled for a week 36 build so should be here by the end of september. It was ordered on 19th june.

I am going to ring Customer services with my build week & Order number on Thursday to see if this temp halt has made any difference.

Mine was built last week and has left the factory en-route to port to await shipping. I agree with you IF its ready before Sept 1 i am gonna take it anyway.

WooHoo!!!! I called the dealer today, my Black Magic TDi vRS has been sat in Emden since 8th August was told today ship due in port tomorrow hopefully my car will be getting loaded and on its way here by Friday . YIPPEE !!!!!!!!!!!!

BOO HISS didnt happen :(

i've trying to find that out too - if they've reopened!?!?!

if the supplier have been able to fix their "flood damaged machines" and resume deliveries to skoda!?!?!

Last week I read that conflicting reports: firstly that the suppliers factory was not damaged but that transport links were cut and then later that the factory had been under 1.5m of mud!

Just called SUK to verify any change in build week, due to floods.

Been advised that the shutdown was only 2 days, and there is no expected delay.

Dealer gave me week 38 build, SUK have just told me Wk 32 ( current week ) I am a very happy bunny

UPDATE - not a happy bunny now , after checking with dealer, and going back to SUK to double check its WK42 build noooooo

Mine sould be on the ferry now, but my new bigger drive way is not done yet, who cares, the thing is when my new toy arrives i recon the new drive will take a back seat as i have to go out in the regulary inorder get used to it wife is gonna go mad, all those little jobs just sitting there waiting for me to come back

Mine was built in week 30 also but the dealer said it was waiting for a ferry 2 weeks ago. No news since though... :(

Prov. Build date - week 44 , then week 38 now week 40!

Rang Skoda UK today. Informed that sales up 60 % from last year and factory are trying to do everything poss. to improve situation.

Luckily dealer, Progress Letchworth prepared to honour px price given for September delivery. They have been a pleasure to deal with so far.

Will get regular updates, but ooh what a long wait! Saw a FL in Race Blue last week in traffic. Felt sooo excited like a kid in a sweet shop.
