I've ordered the Candy White, black roof and black/chrome alloys with a 3month wait for delivery. It's my very first brand new car and really looking forward to it!

Sounds lovely make sure you put up lots of photos when you collect it!

Thats why its specced up

Hence delivery is September instead of October

Can't argue with that but it's human nature to criticise anything new.

Maybe if the old vRS hadn't been as good as it was, the negativity wouldn't have been as bad, but I know the new vRS is a completely different animal, and a fun one at that! :p

One shall test this on Sat at the SE meet

my biggest consern is the MPG..........new small petrol engines are note holding up to the booked spec............ + the super + turbo :wonder:

i will hold my walletjudgment till someone has done a few 1000 miles.

Congrats Chris have pretty much the same car on order my self apart from the bluetooth and i have the black alloys. The rest is the same.

Looks like this car is aimed at the no kids market.

Manual winders will stop you hearing zzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt as the kids play with them.

hello great minds think a like i have ordered the same color white black roof and black /chrome wheels should get it mid september iam told ,i do love the green to but thought white would be a swine to keep clean so more excuses to wash the car :-)

For weeks I've changed my mind and wound friends/family up with my indecisiveness of colour choice I thought I'd finally settled on brilliant silver with black roof ,and had done for the past 5 weeks..............however ,I saw a review on carenthusiast.com and knew as soon as I saw the candy white, it was the one for me! The addition of the black roof makes it more sporty and lessens the height of the car a bit ,not that it really bothers me much. I've never had a white car before, and in my opinion we have both chosen a fantastic colour combination. Really looking forward to seeing what those chrome alloy wheels do for the looks ,but am convinced it's going to look pretty damn sexy! :p

Don't know what you thought, but I did initially consider black wheels, but I think they would have spoiled the look somewhat! Besides ,I've seen a couple of white audis with black wheels and the appearance is such that the driver is on the way to rob the local post office

I been given a 3 month wait for mine, let's hope I get mine in September too

My Dad retired earlier this year,

He decided to buy a small car and my Skoda Mad brother talked him into looking at the Fabia, after looking at few other makes he purchased a new 2010 Skoda Fabia 1.9 tdi Sport in Black with a White roof (sound`s horrible, but it doe`s seem to suit the car)

MY younger brother loves Skoda`s in particular the VRS models, He had a MK1 Fabia VRS from 04-07 then bought an 07 Octavia VRS diesel (on the straight my type R struggles to keep up, but on the corners it handles like a bread van, compared to the R)

A few Months ago he tells me he is getting fed up with the Octavia hatchback`s dated looks and is going to look at new cars,

So what does he decide to buy!

A Skoda Octavia VRS Estate petrol (he gets it on September 1st)

I suppose its true what they say "Insanity run`s in the family"

Cons:

Very good engine, but man that is FUGLY

Eww ugly. Both the shape and the colour.

Damn that's ugly . It's probably great fun to drive though!

Where did Skoda go wrong, I quite liked the old Fabia but the new one looks terrible. I'd definately go for the Suzuki Swift instead.

That got hit with the ugly stick a fair few times.

The engine sounds like impressive engineering. But the car is revolting Im afraid to say

Interestingly, its the young members that were the most negative!!

They do have a point though, you can hardly call it a pretty car

Sounds good - another VRS! Did not realise you had swapped the Civic for an Octavia.

The new Fabia looks good - and green is a wise choice - I like it. Not sure I could go down to Fabia sized cars again though!

Pretty much I'm afraid but ......less £600 on the options

Another white/black roof/black alloys here. Now the waiting begins.

Should collect mine on Sept 1st, they had one in the showroom local to me, in White with the Chrome / black wheels, and black roof! - Can't wait!

Looks like the candy white and rallye green are proving very popular at the minute, a two horse race!
