K&n Looking For Fabias For Development

Featured Replies

K&N (who make those filters) are appealing for Fabia owners to lend them a car so they can develop induction kits.

"Anyone allowing K&N Research and Development in Warrington to use their vehicle will be compensated with a FREE replacement element. When the completed induction kit comes into the marketplace the donor will receive a kit FREE of charge for his/her vehicle. "
See this page for more info...

They're based in Warrington - otherwise I'd have gone for it - hopefully there's someone a bit more local who might be up for it! :D

RamAir Filters are after 1.4 16v Fabias too for induction kit development - same deal as K&N... they borrow your car, build the kit, and you get a free one when it comes to market.

More details here.

Neither of the above two pages had any sort of indication of when they were last updated BTW...

That's a fabulous offer if you ask me.

Hopefully I'll get a Fabia courtesy car while mine's getting repaired...nip out to Warrington, get it

fitted, swap back the old one and auction the K&N one off on here...I love it when a plan comes together! :D

Rob.

Will you also get a free replacement MAF for when the crud out of the K&N's burnt the wire out?

Rob....

Or leave the kit on the courtesy car when it goes back to horners - that way we all get enjoyment from it! :D

Sounds like a great deal. A free K&N or Ramair Induction kit!

Shame I already have the Pipercross on there. Need to find some more cooling for it though. Losing power to heat!
