Hello!

Im having a same problem, than author of the thread. I just clean the throttle body, after putting back it show same problem as author. That is: if let go fo throttle at 1500-2000 rpm, idle cannot find its way down. Tap the throttle, rpm go down. Let go throttle at higher rpm, rpm go down. Idle is normal at 800 rpm (when its not 1500-2000). Other wise car work 100% normal. I did TBA reset i think 10 times with VAGCOM, so difference, also clean the sensor on intake manifold. Solution?

If you are 100% positive there is no vaccum leak which could include throttle body gasket and the two pipes below it especially the thinner one which tends to get micro cracks you need to use MOTORDIAG SIMOS 2P MANAGER to perform a hard reset

I will try with brake cleaner tommorow, if there is some vacuum leak. But, before cleaning the TB, this was not the case. Before the idle was, when going down, went to 500 an then to normal.

Does this SW work with a ross tech vagcom cabel?

OK i have a VAGCOM KKL cable, but it says "Port not ready". Tryed on both win 10 and win 7, both the same. Solution?

BureK  if you  has a kkl cable or at  at least the 409.1 or similar you must install FTDI's drivers at their site , read the instructions , it is a bit dreadfull but it is quite simple ,other wise it will be almost impossible to that cable " speak" with the simos 2p , you may also try this :How to Install VAG-COM 409.1 KKL Cable on Windows http://www.totalcardiagnostics.com/support/Knowledgebase/Article/View/23/0/how-to-install-vag-com-4091-kkl-cable-on-windows

I did everything as you say and it works! Idle is spot on now! Thank you Palhu and Thefeliciahacker.

The MAP sensor referred to is in the middle of the inlet manifold, behind/under the throttle body. It's normally held in by two (probably Torx) screws - just unplug the electrical connector, remove the screws and pull it out.

I don't have a photo, but if it helps you can see clearly where the mounting for it is on this diagram of the inlet manifold: http://www.feliciaklub.dk/parts/index.php?sub=44&cat=2

In Felicia i think is called Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF)

and the cleaning needs special attention, DO NOT use carburettor or brake cleaner or WD-40 spray etc.

There is a spray exactly for this task, is called Air Flow Sensor Cleaner.

NO.
Its a combined MAP/IAT 4-pin sensor for the 1.3 felly.

How many pins do you have to have on OBD plug to reset the throttle? I have only 3 pins and can't connect any diagnostic to it. I am missing second ground pin.
