Anyone put Octy vRS wheels on the Fabia vRS?

I love the style of the Fabia wheels, especially when lowered 30mm which improves how nicely filled the arches are, but I'd like just one extra inch *ahem*

I'd like to keep the overall size the same, but more wheel and less tyre!

Anyone with comments, pics or relevant techy please!

Does anyone know how much the Octy wheels weigh compared with the Fabia wheels?

Not sure, although on the furby it will be offset to a certain extent (albeit slightly) by the reduced amount of tyre.

I wonder if someone does 16" replica Octavia vRS alloys, that way it should mess up the handling or ride etc, but you'll still get the looks. Maybe some on

The octavia estates come with 16" alloys as standard anyway - are they much different to the furby vRS alloys? I think Jimmy might have pics of his on 16s.

Not sure if your mis interpreting what I mean or simply saying the Octavia vRS alloys aren'y much different from the Fabia vRS alloys but i'm thinking of Octavia vRS alloys that are 16" not 17", now I know Skoda wont do this, but there are that many aftermarket alloy companies around I thought some company might.

Let me get this right, you are after a 16" version of the 17" Octavia vRS alloy wheel right? And Skoda dont do this, err yes they do on the estate as Jason said.

Or am i missing the point?

And besides they do look very similar to the Fabia alloys and I couldnt see the point.

Some of the 1st octy vRS's into the uk came on 16" alloy's, and the current estate model is only available on 16's. Several sets have been available in the "for sale" section here in the past, althought they all got sold I think.
