The right choice ?

Featured Replies

A friend of mine ordered a C class Merc earlier this year. It was a factory order due to it "not being silver!". The car was waiting for him in the dealers forecourt in less than 6 weeks from order. He checked to see if it was located in the dealer network and they said it was definitly a factory order. An E class would probably not take much longer to arrive.

Compare that to the waiting list for a Skoda.

We got a Superb sedan 2010 modell in february this year. We allready made the discision to trade it in in july and ordered an new car first week of august. We traded it in for...

The Superb estate with Panoroof 2011 modell:rofl:

Bottem line is, do you want a Merc with the same specs as the superb excelence, it will cost you much, much more and you will loose backseat legspace and get a slightly bigger boot. Most statistics reveal that the skoda is more economical in the maintenance and repair departement and according to "Fifth gear" they loose their value at the same rate per annum.

The superb is still a very special sight to behold as for example we were the first to buy one in our whole community and attracted quite some attention. Even them old grumpy automobiliacs from BBC Top-gear gave it a big thumbs up and "the hamster" Hammond was quoted that the Superb was the best car in it`s class.

But hey, you have got to drive in it, so in the end it`s your money, your choice, B)

Hi all Superb drivers

I have read this forum since June. My new Supberb is 2 weeks away from production but i am starting to suspect that there might be more problems with Skoda than i hoped for. We tested and considrerd the new E-class before ordering the Superb. At that time the Superb seemed like a much better deal.

I would really appresiate some feedback from you that drives Superb regarding quality and overall feel of the car.

Unfortunately there is no extra option you can buy that says "Error Free Car", and neither is the case on a Mercedes.
