Dear Z4 owner,

Your car has been carefully designed for middle aged tw*ts who want a fast car, but would kill themselves if they ever got one.

This continues the careful work carried out by the Z3 development team and takes it to the next level.

With all the safety features installed, along with the toys you like, the heated leather seats and sat nav system the car weight a considerable amount.

To deal with the perception this could cause we have provided a range of carefully selected engines, with a large capacity that implies your car has lots of power.

This is not a worry you will have, even with the rear wheel drive, as with the exception of our M range the Z4 has been tamed for your needs.

Thanks

BMW z4 team.

 What a prat.... :giggle:

(ef it I give up...lol Nice quote)

Mind that Golf is some beast.

Bwahaha, what a Grade-A pillock in the Z4 :giggle:

What a ****** :giggle:

Both *******!

Z4 driver for wanting a race on a busy public road and **** head golf driver for giving in to him and putting his foot down.

You have realised which country they are in right?

I'd hardly a race, the golf just accelerated up to a high speed to make progress, the Z4 and he were not in the same "race"

Oh that was good vid to watch.

You have realised which country they are in right?

Yes Belgium, which still has a 120KPH (75MPH) speed limit.

The fact that the Z4 was doing nearly twice the limit and the Golf well over twice the limit on a busy road makes them both ******* in my book.

I drive in belguim quite often and no one ever sticks to the speed limit, i allways cruise at about 100mph and am nearly the slowest car on the motorway, the police don't seem to care either!!!!!

They obviously don't have the speed camera just down the road any more then?

Gary, as a truck driver I would of thought you of all people would of realised that travelling at 3 times the speed of the trucks you are overtaking is not the smartest thing in the world to do on a busy road?

I just think the Z4 driver is a complete plonker, probably does the same thing in the UK.

I've seen this many times. Always makes me chuckle :giggle:

love it!

classic dipstick.

I was going to add a "+1" but...

I cant remember where that comes in the "universal body parts ranking scheme"! Is it lower than a "comple t1t" but above a "total ar*e" :giggle:

trucks are stuck t the inside lane through most of europe, but yes i see your point completley, and am not really condoning the racing at all, just poiting out some countrys have a very different attitude to speed on the motorways than we do.

Perhaps things have changed, but when I was there 15-20 years ago the Police stopped any foreign car with relish and zapped them with an instant fine. I was stopped by a Police Porsche 911 after I zoomed past it parked hidden in a motorway hide but saw it in time to slow down before they got behind me. A 15-minute going over was my prize as they had no evidence to prosecute (phew).

And, yes, I think they're both plonkers for driving at those speeds on those roads.

Not argueing or anything here, but would you consider those speeds to be safe across the border in germany on a de restricted bit of autobahn? After all they are the same sort of road just one has no limit.

Most of europe doesn't seem to care about speed limits at all anymore from what i see on a regular basis, once out of france they all seem to do as they want!!!!!

I think he got it fitted to his mouth!

120........130......... :giggle:

FWIW the Belgians (and French, but not Germans) were still going around above that even in really heavy rain when I was last there.

Interesting to see some of the comments this post has raised.

I posted it purely for entertainment value and wouldn't argue these two guys are irresponsible.

It kinda reminded me of the scene from Vanishing Point where the E Type driver challenges Kowaski....

FWIW also, I recently drove from Rosnov pod Radhostem in CZ, via Brno to Vienna at an avg 110-130kph (the legal limits BTW ) and was still being overtaken like I was doing 70kph by some...
