Another Bluetooth

Featured Replies

I am sure this has be answered before but for the life of me I can't find the answer, so I am sure you guys will be able to help.

My wfe and I are looking at entering the 21st century and updating our mid 90's Nokia 6210 to a Nokia 5230, so here are the questions.

1) Is it compatable with the Columbus system?

2) Can you register more than one phone to the Columbus?

3) If yes to the above, if both phones are in the car at the same time (sometimes I do take the wife with me) can the Columbus distinguish between the 2 phones?

Basically whichever phone I go for has to be able to have Sat Nav on as it would be better if I used that when i take the RS3100 to shows rather than the rainforest that gets printed off at the moment!

Thanks in advance.

1. If the 5230 has rsap then it should work with the bluetooth in your car, don't forget, the Columbus isn't the bluetooth, it is only the interface for the bluetooth system.

2. Yes, I believe the system can register 5 phones

3. The system tries to connect to the phone it was last connected to, if that one is not available it searches for the next most recent and so on...
