Fabia vrs insurance

Featured Replies

i just renewed my insurance for £870 with elephant. 20 years old driving for 1 year 10 month with 2 years nc.

the renewal quote they sent through was £1120 which was £100 more than last year :wonder: but

when i phoned up to turn it down they matched the quote i got from admiral (sister company)

Slightly off topic but interesting those figures - negotiated down from £1120 to £870 - I've just renewed my motorbike insurance and that after a phone call dropped from £112 to £87 - exactly the same margin. In fact I then introduced the £82 quote I'd had and they gave me £10 cashback (after three months) and threw in legal assistance cover free (usually £25). Might try them (Swinton) for car insurance this year since they also advised they have multiple policy discounts...

Location makes such a huge difference on the price.

Down here in Cornwall it's quite hard to get a really high quote.

I pay £425 fully comp with all mods declared and covered like for like through Adrian Flux. I forget which actual company it's with now though...

Im paying around £1600 fully comp at the moment, 2 years no claims, no points, 20 years old and in a class C postcode.

I am 29 as is the wife. I have SP30 back from 11/2006. £300 excess just renewed for £349 Fully comp inc. travelling to place of work for both of us. (9 years protected NCB)

With Highway through Adrian Flux.

I'm 27, N.Ireland and fully comp is costing me £360 per year with Aviva.

I'm just about to turn 21, 2 years NCB & my accident just came off my licence. Paying £940 fully comp with all the extras eg courtesy car etc
