ok, just got soaked.

tanks been vented and brimming with diesel, money sorted from bank for the leather re-trim, fitted a new front fog light, raised the coilovers like 2 turns (ideally for tomorrow) but needed raised a little anyways as it was scrubbing a bit. (+ would need doing when the 17" wheels go on) soon i promise! so hopefully the height will be good for them. little gappage but im ok with it for now. just going to fix the mic on my bluetooth kit (hopefully can be fixed without replacing) and clean the steering wheel with a magic sponge. might even get some pics and a video of the exhaust before the milltek goes on (tonight hopefully)

ok so boot is loaded with milltek cat back and whiteline rarb to be fitted tonight. i have got my new headunit in, adjusted the front coilovers, and cleaned the steering wheel using a magic sponge (they really are magic) heres some shots.....also a few of the seats before we go all leather. also done a before video of my exhaust and will do an after when the cat-back is on to see the difference, will collaberate them together into 1 video.

and i am aware the date needs corrected on the headunit :giggle:

Magic sponge indeed, where you get it from? looks like it does the trick nicely.

asda, £5 for a big block that you just cut up. you can get them on ebay, first time i got them they worked good, 2nd time different buyer i reckon with cheap copies, didnt work, so these are from asda with the magic sponge official thing on them so i knew they should be ok.

What was wrong with the steering wheel? DOes it take the shine off? My work is full of those sponges lol

it takes that greasy shine off thats just bit up dirt and stuff from the years, dont get me wrong it will come back but its a short term fix, looks much cleaner and like new tbh. dont rub too much as those sponges can eat into the leather, a few wipes over and dry it off and it its not all gone repeat the process.

Mines not too bad but I'll give it a go :)

Currently in York now for the retrim, drive down was ok weather was horrific, hopefully be better on way home, had snow, hail, rain, more snow, slush, aqua planing, slippy roads , someone didn't want me to get here. Did though in the end and was still early by like 10 mins. tiredness is kicking in, will kick back on the way home and let my cousin drive I think. Photos coming soon :)

soon my friend, febuary, maybe even next week, waiting on my disks pads and 312 brakes going on first

Seats look very nice bud.

Seats look lovely. When they have 'settled in' will the creases come out? They're beautiful seats though! The quality of leather good?

If its not too painful a question, how much did the leather retrim cost?

They look stunning. Almost has an OEM look to them.

I do love the quality of the seat surgeons. I'm still impressed with mine :-)
