first little mod in a while. chopped down the gear stick about an inch, looks better imo. although the full inch isnt dropped as the shape of the knob inside changed so its maybe just over 1/2 inch shorter. hard to see from the pics kind of.

Just had a flick through your progress thread. Very tidy mate.

What aerial do you have? Looks like a Honda S2000 aerial, but I wasn't aware they fitted the vRS.

Really nice looking car mate, really enjoyed going through all 9 pages looking at home its come on. Where did you get the mcrae sticker? I'm going to give the HD wax a go too after seeing how shiny it looks!

I have fear for my turbo, it died after a burst on the motorway and then I shut the car off and on and it kicked back in, over boosting? My brother said variable veins could be sticking and it could be the turbo on it's way out :S hope not!! Will see how it drives over the next few days

i know its been all quiet here, been busy fixing the car after a mishap a month ago. not been cheap but getting there now. new hub and bearing awaiting fitting, along with new new front abs sensors.

brand new instrument cluster going in on tuesday at skoda to fix my dodgy semi working one.

and also got 312mm brakes coming...

shortly the front bumper will be getting number plate recess smoothed.

and then plans for next year porsche alloys on, coilovers, some tints and maybe a leather retrim. also on the lookout for a r32 steering wheel.

Sounds good mate!

Wow great progress. The paintwork looks amazing after you've machine polished it

Awsome car !!!!!

just ordered some KW V1 coilovers , 2x front antiroll bar powerflex bushes and a whiteline rear anti roll bar.

I think the KW's will make the Fabia not need a RARB.

I think the KW's will make the Fabia not need a RARB.

ive heard the handling is greatly improved by coilovers alone, but im also re-mapped so for extra, just to be sure i would rather have it on, i recently found out what remapping a standard vrs and not improving handling does, so to me i find it important now to be upgrading things like handling and braking

Yeah I was going say I have a RARB and wont be taking it off when I get coil overs asides the fact it helps the handling I like the look of having it fitted :)

just spent probably an hour reading this whole thread! come along way mate!

i was personally a fan of the black wheels if im honest but..

the twists will look amazing!

good work!#

and PS, HID's and Xenons are the same thing..

HID's contain xenon gas and a high voltage arc lights the gas! same as in "xenon" headlights fitted as standard to cars.

my mini cooper s has factory fit xenon's.. and i went on ebay and bought some "hid" replacement bulbs for them to make them 6k instead of 4300 whatever standard is.

so yes, you was right :)
